COVID-19 Update
The health and well being of our customers, colleagues, contractors and communities is of utmost importance to us. Whilst these are uncertain times, we wanted to reassure you that our focus and dedication remains to keep our customers comfortable in their homes.
We remain open and operating with all services and appointments running as planned. In the near future we will look to alter the way appointments are carried out. This will apply to contract renewals, inspections and viewings.
Tenants
Tenants who are self-isolating are encouraged to make contact with us in the usual way via phone or email. We can then ensure that your recovery time is not interrupted by repair or maintenance activity. This will be re-scheduled for a time after the expiry of your period of self-isolation.
You can be assured that our colleagues and contractors are aware of infection control guidelines and we are taking every precaution to stay safe and align ourselves with the advice of the Government and Public Health England. We will continue to instruct Contractors to attend maintenance issues to tenanted properties as and when required. Please bear in mind that this may take longer than usual and they will assess the urgency of the call – out to a property on a job by job basis. If tenants are having to self isolate at the time a Contractor or any Agency Staff are due to visit, the Contractor or Agency Staff MUST be made aware of this before they attend the property.
When a Contractor attends the property, we ask all of our tenants to respect the guidelines given by the contractor with regards to social distancing measures for everybody’s own safety.
For those of you staying at home, we're only a phone call or email away and would be pleased to discuss your situation and adjust how we are working with you to reflect the situation.
Thank you for your understanding and we wish you the very best during these difficult times.
Landlords
All our standard services are currently operating although we’ll make sure we inform you if this changes as the UK-wide situation develops. We will continue to carry out all regulatory requirements. We will be supporting landlords and tenants on a case by case basis where there is potential for tenants to fall into rent arrears.
For landlords who attend to their own repairs and maintenance issues, we recommend you review the government publications and check-ahead with your tenants prior to visiting your property.
Please contact us directly if you have any further enquiries.
Above all, keep well and stay safe.
